Winter to Spring Transition

Happy President’s Day & Happy Monday!

During these times of division between races and gender equality, which weigh heavy in my heart, I hope we all reflect on this nation’s history. I pray we all see beauty in our differences and build each other up, that is what I want my country to fight for, UNITY!

Houston has been so crazy lately, but it is Houston! I truly do not know what to wear on a daily basis. One day is hot, one day is cold and others it is rainy, like today. It has rained on and off ALL day. With Houston being consistently inconsistent and seasons changing so does our wardrobe right? I love transitioning pieces because it makes it so much easier to find outfits and of course, save money! (Saving money being the best part of it!)

I have paired a thin knit sweater with a sleeveless trench-coat to stay a bit warm but not too warm, you know?

IMG_0320.edited.jpgI love over-the-knee boots so I am squeezing them in my wardrobe as much as possible before it is too hot to wear them. I love these boots, they are so comfortable. I love them so much a bought the burgundy ones as well 🙂

I do not wear a lot of jewelry but I do love a good statement piece to elevate the outfit from simple to chic!

Remember I said transitioning pieces and outfits are the best, right? Well this look, I wore it two different ways. Earlier with boots and at the end with my New Balance sneakers which are SO comfy. They are my go to sneakers, for sure. I am definitely investing in more pairs.

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
