So, it is February dolls!

When you walk into any Walmart, Target, Walgreens or any other store you will definitely run into a sea of reds and pinks. The store has dedicated an entire aisle(s) to Valentine’s Day, Cupid has thrown up all over right? I get that those in a relationship love to see all those teddy bears, red/pink balloons and even find their way to the mall for that perfect outfit for Valentine’s Date Night.  If you are this girl, I am so happy you are in love and celebrating this month! You deserve to be loved by someone ❥

To my single dolls, I get that this month can’t pass soon enough for some of you! You have been heartbroken, been single for a long time or maybe never had a boyfriend and keep waiting for “the one” to sweep you off your feet. Valentine’s Day can be a reminder of the love you are not receiving by a guy. The thought of this love-filled month is simply depressing and quite frankly annoying for you and ladies I get it! I get that this month is not your favorite, I get that you may feel alone, I get that you even go as far as avoiding some stores to avoid seeing all the pinks and the reds staring back at you as you walk in to buy the groceries for the week! It can be overwhelming.

I want to remind you that whether you are in love, married, engaged or single that God loves you. Jesus is in control of your life and loves you like no one ever will. My single dolls, embrace this season of singleness. You may be single but never alone! Enjoy this time in your life, love yourself, celebrate love with your family and friends. You are worthy of love because He said so. You do not need a man to see love all around you. You are beautiful beyond compare, He has designed you with a purpose and is using every season of your life to build your character for the future. Valentine’s Day is not intended for only couples, make this day fun! Remind your girlfriends that you love them, maybe even mail Valentine’s Day cards to your single girlfriends with a Bible verse reminding them that God loves them. Go on a date with your girlfriends that day.

As for my family, mom makes sure we have dinner as a family. She decorates the house with balloons, pretty pink and red plates, napkins and silverware. She always made this day about us, she still buys my sisters and I cute stuffed animals. Mom is SO cute.

Allow God to romance you, give Him the opportunity to show you how much He does love you, from your mother’s womb to be exact. His love is so abundant and so real. Allow Him to take control of your emotions in all of your seasons.

Celebrate love every day, you are loved princess! You are the daughter of the one true King!
